• We do not just provide registered NZ trained teachers. We go a step further and ensure that our teachers have specialist training in Specific Learning Difficulties and Literacy Education. Our teachers have their practice supervised on an on going basis and they are required to regularly update their skills. Clients are not taught by a student ,general classroom teacher or a computer.

This is a hard question to answer because every child is different!

We have some children who spend 6 months with us and others with serious difficulties who spend 1-2 years or longer. Some students spend a few terms and then take a break and then come back again. It depends on the depth of the problems, frequency of lessons and the committment to your program.

As a rule we work on 60 minute sessions. However some students need shorter sessions and some longer. We’ll work it out to suit your child. We will also tailor the frequency of lessons to suit your child. Some stdents come twice a week, others once a week, still others once a fortnight.

Most students come once a week. However some come twice a week and some come once a fortnight. Some students come after school, some we see during school, some come in the evening…once again we work to suit you, not the other way around!

There are several reasons. Firstly your child is being taught by a teacher specialising in literacy, not a general teacher, a student or a computer. Secondly we create a program tailored to your child. Thirdly we look at the problem holistically. We check out health issues, pyschology, reflex and co ordination, family history as well as the personality of the child.

Lastly, Enrich Students, are learning how to learn. So their confidence and skills in other subject areas increases as well.

If you are breathing, we'll teach you! We mainly take on school age students, however we are very successful with adult students also. It is never to late to learn.

Yes.

We may recommend that you see an educational pyschologist, a behavioural optometrist or other professional. This would be a separate cost. Many resources are incuded in the price of the lessons.We also have extra resources for sale, ranging from books to CD's to charts. These are optional. Be assured that we discuss your budget form the beginning and suit our recommendation to fit.
